Donna Hover, LPN

Donna Hover is the first employee and cherished matriarch of Sarkis Family Psychiatry. She has worked for Dr. Sarkis since 1992 in positions of increasing responsibility. Donna’s first priority has always been ensuring a quality healthcare experience for every patient of Sarkis Family Psychiatry. As patient advocate, she helps patients determine eligibility and submit applications for patient assistance programs. She also provides advice and assistance for patients who need to communicate medical information to their schools. In her current role as nurse manager, Donna has overall responsibility for patient contact, triage, medical records, and front office operations.

Donna received her education at Corning Community College in Corning, New York, and BOCES School of Practical Nursing in Horseheads, New York.

Prior to joining Sarkis Family Psychiatry, Donna held several positions in healthcare, including LPN, office manager, and medical assistant.

Stephanie Hover

Stephanie joined Sarkis Family Psychiatry in 2005. As lead receptionist, Stephanie is responsible for answering the phones, scheduling appointments, patient check-in and check-out, and preparation of daily financial reports. Prior to working for Sarkis Family Psychiatry, she worked for an OBGYN office in Boston. Stephanie has a degree in Sociology from Santa Fe College.

Lauren Wanamaker

Before joining Sarkis Family Psychiatry in 2011 as administrative assistant to Dr. Sarkis, Lauren attended the University of Central Florida where she received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

Eric Dutton

Eric Dutton is in charge of taking patient vitals, keeping the filing in order, and generally helping out where he can. He joined Sarkis Family Psychiatry in 2011, but continues to teach college writing courses and after-school origami classes. Before moving to Gainesville, Eric lived in Pittsburg, Kansas, where he earned a B.A. and an M.A. in English, both from Pittsburg State University.
